Here am I, send me

 

What power do these words provide

But put you firmly on God’s side. 

Once these words form in your heart 

Your life will have a brand new start. 

To follow Jesus every day

Spend time on your knees and pray. 

Pick up your cross and follow me 

Then heavenly blessings you will see. 

Just remember what He taught

They hated me and always fought. 

He taught us all before he died 

Love everyone and do not hide. 

The truth he spoke to all mankind 

Would help us all, his path to find. 

The words he spoke made many foes

And kept his followers on their toes. 

The path he forged for every child

Would not be calm, and even wild. 

But if we are faithful to the end 

Eternity with God we’ll spend. 

It's not Left vs Right

Puppet masters pull the strings

In hopes of getting much more power.

They hoped to silence all good men

From spreading truth upon the tower.

We have chosen every day

To follow Christ in every way.

The world will hate you when you speak

Because God’s words strengthen the weak.

The lie that we have all been fed

It’s left or right so make your choice.

But what is really going on?

A war for souls, so use your voice.

The angels of the devil sneer

Each time, for evil, minions cheer.

We must rid darkness from our life

Choose God’s light, not worldly strife.

We must press on in such a cause

To gain rewards in heaven above.

This war that never seems to end

Was won by Christ with his pure love.

So keep your eyes upon God’s son

He’ll light the path, the only one.

The day is coming, Jesus said

When pain and sorrow we will shed.

The battle that we fought in heav’n

Still rages on this earthly realm.

Satan knows time’s running out

So look to Christ, He’s at the helm!!

A child of God went home today

Into the arms of Jesus Christ.

He only wanted all to know

For all of us Christ paid the price.

He brought the truth to everyone

Some would not listen others did.

He stood for what he felt was right.

He held his ground and never hid.

He fought for all of the unborn

And those deceived by Satan’s lies.

He spoke boldly every day

To help God’s children win the prize.

Today it seems hate may have won

In an evil twist of fate

He would want us to press on

With love and grace and never hate.

Don’t give in to the dark side

That only makes you part of it.

Christ is the only light to shine

To honor Charlie, keep it lit.

How long will you wait...till its too late?

 

Our lives are rarely problem free

Storms will come to you and me.

How will we face the storms that come

Will we fight or just go numb?

At times it will seem just too much

All good things just out of touch.

No matter what you try to do

It seems that you don’t have a clue.

It seems as though you’re lost at sea

Treading water endlessly.

Its then you look from the deep

A hand outstretched that you can keep.

As the Savior reaches out

Your aching heart just wants to shout.

You reach up and grab His hand

He carries you on to dry land.

The Savior opens up your mind

It would seem that you were blind.

You see that he was always there

Making your life much more than fair.

He’ll always be there just for you

Just call out you’ll see it’s true.

Don’t wait too long to call his name

For that you do not want the blame
