Reel Them In

They’re little movies we call reels

They aim to make you never feel

A few seconds is all it takes 

Before your soul begins to break

The hook is baited with a lie

“It’s no big deal you have to try”.

Before you know it it’s too late 

The hook is in, the pain is great. 

It’s seems as though all is lost

I want my freedom at all costs. 

I’m helpless as he reels me in 

“How did all of this begin “

The only one who sets us free

Waits for us, yes you and me. 

His arms are waiting, open wide

He calms the water and the tide. 

He cuts the line, no longer bound

We feel His love cause we’ve been found. 

The hook is taken from our soul

No more I’ll pay the devil’s toll. 

We must deny the shiny things 

For pain is all they really bring. 

Focus on the Savior’s face

It’s there you’ll find true lasting grace. 

Stay far away from waters dark

And keep your eye on the true mark. 

This is the key to conquer sin

And never let him reel you in. 

I See You

 

From my throne in heaven above
My heart’s completely full of love. 
I whisper softly in your ear
Words that change you if you’ll hear. 

The world’s loud voice will drown me out 
Because I’ll never scream and shout. 
Remove yourself from evil ways 
To hear my voice and with me stay. 

My love for you will never end
You are my lamb I’ll ever tend. 
You have no secrets from my view 
I see your life and all you do. 

You are my child forever more
I have so much for you in store. 
Give your heart to me to heal
I promise you the greatest deal. 

All I have is yours to keep
I’ll save you from the darkest deep. 
Don’t ever give in to the dark

Just keep your eye on me, the mark.

All life Is Precious

The lease was signed right on the line

Everything seemed so very fine.

I paid my rent, was never late

Yet soon I’d know my evil fate.

Without warning they came for me

And pulled me from my home you see.

They said they could remove me hence

Even though I paid my pence.

There is no logic in this sense

It’s all completely just nonsense.

What happened to my right to live

I’ll never get the chance to give.

My life meant nothing in their eyes

I was not wanted just despised

These babes are straight from Gods own arm

And we must never do them harm!!

Flaxen Cord

The adversary is not dumb

He’s been around for many years. 

He sometimes seems like your best friend

He wants you just to live in fear. 

The lies he tells are very good

They hide the truth of pain they cause. 

If we choose that wicked path 

We’ll know more pain than ever was. 

The first line of a flaxen cord 

Can be broken with such ease. 

But as it winds around us tight

The devil will not hear your pleas. 

Before you know it, it’s too late

The cord is now a chain bound tight. 

The blood He shed for me and you

Can break the chain and make it right.   

There is no power on this great earth

That supersedes the Holy One

All that Father did for us 

He did so we would seek His Son!

With the chains of sin removed

We’re free to move towards Gods pure light. 

We see all things as God intends

For His love for us is ever bright. 

Seek out the Root

In the forest stood a tree

Reaching high as I could see. 

Each branch protected us from heat 

As the sun upon us beat. 

Each branch is part of the great whole

Without the roots it has no soul.

We are as branches to the root 

Without the roots the point is moot. 

The branch will never feed it's kin

The root is where the food begins. 

So keep your eyes fixed on the root

So life will not be such a brute!

Christ is the root of all good things

His love for us is what he brings. 

Always keep your eyes fixed fast

Upon The Lord and you will last. 

Is It Too Much To Ask?

 

What you ask is far too much
I can’t do all of that and such.
It’s just too hard to do it all
I’m sure I’ll only try and fall.

Oh sweet child don’t ever fear
For I am always very near.
Don’t ever think you’re all alone
For all your pains I did atone.

As you put your trust in me
Your eyes will open and you’ll see.
I walk beside you every day
That I may show you Heaven’s way.

I only want your tender heart
To follow me and that’s a start.
In time your heart will be like mine
And with our Father spend all time.

Put the natural man aside
And join the Father at his side.
This choice you make may seem absurd
Because the world wants to be heard.

As you resist the one who fell
From Heaven’s glory down to hell.
You’ll find a strength not of your own
And reap the fruits of what you’ve sown.

Then the day will finally come
Great for many, not for some.
You’ll then receive your blessings sure
And become like God clean and pure.

LONG LIVE THE CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC!!

 Let me make this perfectly clear!  I HAVE NO DESIRE TO PRESERVE OUR DEMOCRACY…Because that is NOT WHAT WE HAVE!!  WE ARE A REPUBLIC!!  Everyone who says our democracy is at stake is really saying, “Our majority rule is at stake, our power is at stake.” Make no mistake we are at war against evil forces and there are those who want to make the rest of us their slaves!!  So get off of your backside and go vote and protect our CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC!!  I for one will be no one’s slave or give up the freedoms God gave to us, and our forefathers died to preserve!!

Words of the Prophets

Twice a year they teach us truth

Things that God wants us to know. 

We must prepare our hearts to feel

The spirit as it starts to glow. 

The words we hear can pierce our hearts 

And change us from our evil ways. 

God’s prepared each one of us

To hear the words the prophet says. 

Let us heed all that is taught 

That close to God we can become.

If we’ll listen with intent

We’ll be prepared when Jesus comes.

Blessed are the Peacemakers

 

Many thousand years ago

The Savior taught this precious truth

We’ll become His children dear 

We were taught this from our youth. 

In a world so full of strife

We must choose kindness in our life

Choosing to be good to all 

Ensures that we will never fall. 

We’ll find peace as we choose Christ 

For the world has lost its way. 

Kindness is what we should seek

For that is what I always pray. 

Kindness is the better choice

Let’s always choose a calming voice. 

Being kind is all it takes

To help someone not to break. 

Choose to be a shining light 

So others turn to God in love. 

If we do this simple act 

Rewards await in Heav’n above. 

Evil through and through!!

Evil through and through
First and foremost I want it known that I stood against the great evil of abortion in our day!!

Can you imagine the justifiable outrage of people if we put to death those convicted of capital crimes in the following manner: Cut the person into pieces and vacuum them off the table into a garbage bin!! The extremely vile irony is that those same people have no problem with that same procedure happening to an innocent, pure baby inside the womb. Evil is Evil is EVIL!!!...and no I am not talking about special circumstances like rape, incest or health of the mother since those are a completely different set of circumstances, I am talking about those that choose to end the life of their child because they are being inconvenienced or chose to have unprotected sex. Remember...Pregnancy is ALWAYS a consequence, never a choice. The choice is having sex. Abortion has almost always been about avoiding accountability for one’s poor sexual conduct choices!!

Time Is Running Out

This battle we have fought so long 
Is nearing what we call the end. 
We mustn’t waver nor retreat 
But stand for God and never bend.

This land of ours is greatly blessed 
But only when we heed the Lord. 
God gave us agency to choose
Choose free life, not bound with cords.

 
Government should never be 
The source of hope for you and me. 
They’ve proven to abuse our trust
Their souls are cankered, full of rust.

 
Choosing right is never wrong
It warms the heart just like a song. 
But don’t expect the world to care
Their plan was never to be fair.

 
We must do our sacred part
By voting for a humble heart. 
We must choose wisely for our sake
So our own graves we don’t make.

 
Freedom to choose is on the line 
To live in bondage is not fine. 
Our leaders need to understand 
They work for us in this great land.

 
Stand up tall and fight for light
With all your heart and mind and might. 
We will incur some wounds for sure 
But nothing that our God can’t cure.

 
When the war is finally done
Just as the galant setting sun. 
We’ll be rewarded from on high
And feel the love of God so nigh. 

Embrace the Journey

Our life before we came to earth

Could not fulfill our godly worth. 

Our perfect Father up above

Prepared a plan to show His love.

As with all things that make us grow

Pain and suffering we would know. 

We shouted with the greatest joy

As Satan seeks to just destroy. 

We knew that life would not be fair

But Jesus Christ would always care. 

We mustn’t lose our faith in Him 

For His perfect light won’t dim.

Each trial that we face in life 

May seem at times so full of strife. 

But Father knows what lies ahead 

And for that reason do not dread. 

We must be humble and contrite

Then someday all will be made right. 

The mansion that awaits for you

Will be more than you ever knew. 

So don’t you fret or don’t you frown

For Satan cannot take you down

For with your faith in Christ’s pure love 

A place is yours in heav’n above.

Fire Of The Refiner

The old man went down to the stream

To gather dirt and rocks and sand.

The work is hard and days are long

And many folks don't understand.

All this work is just a waste

Thats what they tell him, in their haste.

All this work will yield no fruit

And leave you broke and destitute.

He calmly takes his precious ore

And sifts out all he does not need.

He crushes all that’s left to dust

So precious metals may be freed.

Into a furnace it is placed

To rid the precious ore of waste.

This process is a grueling one

But is a part that must be done.

Once the furnace does its part

The precious metal is refined.

The beauty of the gold now shines

Because hard work he did not mind.

All must endure this painful task

But why, is something you may ask.

The great reward that waits for you.

Is worth all that you have to do!
