How does one begin anew
When this life seems all askew.
Chaos seems to rule the day
Until you kneel and start to pray.
That is the first step we must take
And he will heal a heart that aches.
One or two or thousands more
New beginnings don’t keep score.
He loves us with a love so pure
His love is quite the perfect cure.
We’ll never go too far away
Where His love, with us, won’t stay.
Do not listen to the lies
Of he who says don’t even try.
God’s grace and mercy have no end
His love for you will never bend.
New beginnings bring us hope
Like being washed and cleaned with soap.
Keep your focus on God’s son
The day will come and you’ll have won!
